I Worked Out Exactly What Everything on Gendia Costs: Here's the Whole Price List
Every model on Gendia priced in credits, with real numbers. What images cost, why video costs ten times more, what the photo tools charge, and the drafting trick that makes a small balance go a very long way.
The first time I ran a 30-second video I watched my credit balance drop by four figures and thought I'd broken something.
I hadn't. That's just what long video costs, and once I understood why, I cut my spending on the same work by about 80% without changing the output at all.
So here's the whole price list, with real numbers, plus the habit that makes the biggest difference. If you've ever searched "how many credits does AI video cost" or "why is my balance dropping so fast," this is the answer.
The one rule that explains everything
Video costs roughly ten to a hundred times more than an image.
A still from Z Image is 5 credits. A 30-second Seedance 2.5 render can be 9,900. That's not a pricing quirk: a video is hundreds of frames, each one about as much work as a still, and the model has to keep them all coherent on top.
So when you plan a budget, count your videos. Images are almost free by comparison.
What images cost
| Model | Credits |
|---|---|
| Flux Schnell | 2.5 |
| Z Image | 5 |
| Flux Dev | 10 |
| Qwen Image | 15 |
| Nano Banana · Flux Kontext · Seedream 4.0/4.5/5.0 Lite | 20 |
| GPT Image 1.5 | 20–110 |
| Ideogram V3 | 20–50 |
| Seedream 5.0 Pro | 30–60 |
| Grok | 40 |
| Nano Banana 2 | 50–90 |
| Nano Banana Pro | 75–125 |
| GPT Image 2 | 10–200 |
Look at the spread there. Twenty Flux Schnell images cost less than one Nano Banana Pro render. That fact is the whole basis of the workflow further down.
See the number next to the diamond in that prompt bar? That's the real cost of the generation you're about to run, with your current settings already applied. It updates as you change the model or resolution.
What video costs
| Model | Credits |
|---|---|
| LTX Video | 20–60 |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 | 45–1,200 |
| Seedance 1.0 | 50–700 |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast | 50–500 |
| Seedance 1.5 Pro · 2.0 | 75–700 |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini | 80–650 |
| Grok | 100–300 |
| Wan 2.6 | 100–500 |
| Hailuo 2.0 / 2.3 | 150–1,000 |
| Kling 2.1 – 3.0 (all variants) | 150–1,500 |
| Veo 3.1 | 230–1,750 |
| Seedance 2.5 | 236–9,900 |
Why a range that wide?
Because three settings move it, and one of them dominates:
- Duration. This is the big one. Cost scales with seconds: a 30-second clip is not "a bit more" than a 5-second one.
- Resolution. 480p, 720p and 1080p are priced separately. On Seedance 2.5, 1080p carries about a 9.4% per-token premium over the flat 480p/720p rate.
- Audio and references, on the models that support them.
Audio, music and 3D
| What | Credits |
|---|---|
| Supertone TTS | 0.2–1 |
| Music Generation | 40–60 |
| Gentria (3D) | 400 |
Text-to-speech is effectively free, under a credit per line. If you're making a voiceover for a video, the audio is a rounding error next to the footage it sits on. I stopped thinking about its cost entirely.
What the photo tools cost
These are flat prices, no ranges:
| Tool | Credits |
|---|---|
| Background remover | 10 |
| Photo restoration | 20 |
| AI photo retouch | 20 |
| Object remover | 20 |
| AI image resize | 20 |
| AI background change | 20 |
| Photo enhancer 2× | 46 |
| Photo enhancer 4× | 185 |
Watch the enhancer. 4× costs four times what 2× does, because it's billed on output megapixels and 4× makes four times as many. If 2× gets you to the size you need, take it, I've wasted plenty of credits ignoring that.
The plans
| Plan | Credits | Monthly | Concurrent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free (Starter) | 250 | ₩0 / $0 | 1 |
| Basic | 2,750 | ₩13,900 / $9 | 3 |
| Creator | 25,000 | ₩91,900 / $59 | 10 |
| Elite | 70,000 | ₩247,900 / $159 | 15 |
Annual is cheaper per month on every paid tier, Basic ₩142,800 / $96 a year, Creator ₩934,800 / $600, Elite ₩2,530,800 / $1,620.
That last column matters more than I expected. Concurrent generations is how many things can run at once. On Free you wait for each attempt; on Creator you can fire ten variations of a video prompt simultaneously. When you're hunting for the right result, that's the difference between an afternoon and ten minutes.
The workflow that cut my bill by 80%
This is the actual point of the article.
Step 1: Draft on the cheapest thing that moves
For images, that's Flux Schnell (2.5) or Z Image (5). For video, LTX Video (20–60). You are not trying to make the final asset here. You're finding out whether the composition works, whether the motion idea is any good, whether the framing is right.
Step 2: Keep test video short and small
Duration is the biggest multiplier there is, so test at 4–5 seconds and 480p. Prove the idea cheaply. A five-second 480p draft costs a tiny fraction of a 30-second 1080p render, and it tells you almost everything you need to know.
Step 3: Only then spend the real credits
Once you know exactly what you want, run it once on the model you actually wanted, Seedream 5.0 Pro, Nano Banana Pro, Seedance 2.5, at full length and full resolution.
Step 4: Edit instead of re-rolling
If one element is wrong, don't regenerate the whole thing and hope. Use an editing model or a photo tool to change that one thing. It's cheaper and it doesn't disturb everything else that was already right.
A few smaller habits worth having
- Use references instead of longer prompts. One reference image gets you there in a single generation, where describing the same thing takes five attempts.
- Upscale once, at the end. Not in the middle of your process.
- Glance at the number before you press go. It's right there, and it already accounts for your settings. Two seconds of attention saves a lot of credits.
Try it on the free tier
The Free plan gives you 250 credits a month, no card needed. That's a hundred Flux Schnell images, or twenty-five background removals, or a handful of short LTX videos, plenty to work out whether the platform suits you.
Start on the cheap models, spend nothing finding out what you want, and only then reach for the expensive ones. Open Gendia and see how far a couple of hundred credits actually goes.
