The Five Plans, Compared on the Only Two Numbers That Matter
Free, Basic, Pro, Creator and Elite, what each gives you in credits and concurrent generations, what annual billing actually saves, and how to pick without guessing.
Five plans, and the marketing for any subscription tends to bury the two numbers you actually decide on: how many credits you get and how many things you can run at once.
Here they are.
The table
| Plan | Credits / month | Monthly | Annual | At once |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 250 | $0 | $0 | 1 |
| Basic | 2,750 | $9 | $96 | 3 |
| Pro | 12,000 | $29 | $300 | 5 |
| Creator | 25,000 | $59 | $600 | 10 |
| Elite | 70,000 | $159 | $1,620 | 15 |
Korean pricing runs alongside in KRW: ₩13,900, ₩45,900, ₩91,900 and ₩247,900 a month.
One naming quirk worth flagging, because it trips people up: Pro is cheaper than Creator. The order by price is Free → Basic → Pro → Creator → Elite. If you assumed "Pro" was the top tier, it's the middle one.
Credits per dollar
The tiers get better value as they get bigger, but less dramatically than the price jumps suggest:
| Plan | Credits per $1 |
|---|---|
| Basic | ~306 |
| Pro | ~414 |
| Creator | ~424 |
| Elite | ~440 |
The real jump is Basic to Pro: a third more credits for every dollar. After that it flattens out. Creator gives you barely 2% better value per credit than Pro, and Elite about 4% better than Creator.
So the honest read: buy the tier whose allowance you'll actually use. Going up a tier for the rate is close to pointless; going up because you keep running out is the real reason.
The number people forget: concurrency
Every plan caps how many generations run at the same time, 1 on Free, up to 15 on Elite. Past the cap, work queues rather than failing.
On Free that means one thing at a time, and a 30-second video generation blocks the next one. On Basic's 3 you can start three and go do something else.
This matters much more than it sounds if you work in batches. Generating twelve product variants on a limit of 1 is twelve sequential waits; on a limit of 10 it's essentially one wait. If your work looks like "set off a batch, come back later", concurrency may decide your plan more than credits do.
Nothing is lost when you hit the cap, queued generations run as slots free. It's a speed limit, not a wall.
Annual billing
Annual runs 11–15% cheaper than paying monthly:
| Plan | 12× monthly | Annual | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $108 | $96 | $12 (11%) |
| Pro | $348 | $300 | $48 (14%) |
| Creator | $708 | $600 | $108 (15%) |
| Elite | $1,908 | $1,620 | $288 (15%) |
Real, but not enormous. A month or two of being on the wrong tier costs more than the annual discount saves, so switch to annual once you know your usage, not while you're still working it out.
Picking without guessing
Start on Free. 250 credits is genuinely enough to learn the platform if you spend it on cheap models, around a hundred Flux Schnell images, or twenty-five background removals.
Then track one real month. Not a heavy month, a normal one. What did you actually make?
Match the tier to that number. Some anchors, using the full price list:
- 2,750 credits (Basic), roughly 130 Seedream images, or a thousand Flux Schnell drafts, or a handful of finished short videos
- 12,000 (Pro), steady image work with regular video
- 25,000 (Creator), video as a routine part of the job
- 70,000 (Elite), video at volume, or a team
Size for a normal month, not your busiest. A top-up covers an unusual month more cheaply than a year on a tier you outgrow twice a year.
The habit that changes which plan you need
Draft on cheap models and finish on expensive ones, and your monthly consumption can fall by most of itself. That's not a rhetorical flourish: the spread between Flux Schnell at 2.5 credits and GPT Image 2 at 200 is eighty-fold, and most drafting doesn't need the expensive end.
Plenty of people on Pro are doing work that Basic covers, because they iterate on the finished-quality model. The credits guide has the workflow.
Try it
Open the pricing page with your last month's usage in mind. If you don't have that number yet, stay on Free another few weeks and find it: it's the only input that makes this decision easy.
